Malena Gonzalez Fernandez

I am a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Florida pursuing a degree in environmental engineering. I am currently an undergraduate researcher at the Deliz Lab, where we study PFAS fate and transport. This year I will be pursuing my first independent research project under USP: investigating the presence of PFAS in wastewater streams under normal and increased water use conditions. I am also an undergraduate research assistant for UF's Geohealth and Hydrology Research Lab. I hope to attend graduate school and continue my research in these fields.
